Who we are
SudokuPrintable.com is built and run by a small independent team at Caravaca Labs, LLC. We are software developers who solve on paper ourselves, and this site is the tool we wished existed every time we wanted to print a few puzzles: fast, free, and honest about how it works.
There is no large publisher behind the site. The same people who write the puzzle generator also read the contact inbox, fix reported problems, and decide what gets built next.
Our mission
We think a good Sudoku puzzle should be one click away, with no account, no paywall, and no clutter getting between you and the grid. Since day one we have focused on doing one thing well: making printable Sudoku that is easy to generate, pleasant to print, and genuinely solvable.
Our puzzles are used by teachers building classroom packets, parents keeping kids busy on a road trip, care homes running group activities, and solvers who just prefer pencil and paper to a screen.

How our puzzles are made
We are open about how the site works: every puzzle here is generated by Sudoku software we designed and built ourselves, not copied from books or scraped from other sites. The generator starts from a complete, valid solution grid and removes clues one at a time. After every single removal it re-checks the grid with our solver, and the clue goes back if the puzzle would stop having exactly one solution. No puzzle reaches the site without passing that uniqueness check.
Difficulty is measured, not guessed. Each level has strict requirements for how many starting clues a puzzle keeps and how hard our solver has to work to finish the grid, so an easy puzzle really is gentle and an extreme puzzle really does demand deep logic. Generated puzzles that miss the standard for their level are thrown away and regenerated, and the whole published collection runs through an automated validation suite before release.
Designing, testing, and tuning that engine is where our effort goes, and it lets us make promises a scanned puzzle page cannot: exactly one solution per grid, difficulty labels you can trust, and PDFs that render identically every time and print cleanly on US Letter and A4. If a puzzle ever falls short, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
